  2011.07.15 Overview of The World Lithuanian Economic Forum 2011
  The World Lithuanian Economic Forum (WLEF) is an annual event organized by the Lithuanian Business Confederation | ICC Lithuania since 2009, reuniting Lithuanian entrepreneurs and businesses from all over the world. This year’s two-day event was held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on July 4-5.

  2011.03.22 Lithuanian Business Confederation | ICC Lithuania announced the Minister of Transport and Communications Eligijus Masiulis „The Partnership Leader 2010“
  Lithuanian Business Confederation | ICC Lithuania for the tenth time has awarded “The Partnership Leader”. This year the winner is The Minister of Transport and Communications Eligijus Masiulis. The award of “The Business Ambassador” went to the founder of GetJar Ilja Laurs. The new nomination of “The Socially Responsible Business” went to The Lithuanian Brewers Guild.

  ICC Lithuania in cooperation with law firm SORAINEN on 14-15th April organizing seminars for bankers on Bank Guarantees (URDG 758) and Documentary Credits (UCP 600)issues.

  2010.10.11 The Competition Council seeks to be more open for business society
  On the 8th October, 2010, the Competition Council of the Republic of Lithuania and Lithuanian Business Confederation signed the collaboration agreement.

  2010.09.18 Internet Governance Forum should be continued
  On Friday, 17th September finished the fifth Internet Governance Forum which took place in Lithuanian Exhibition Centre LITEXPO in Vilnius and was on for five days. Lithuanian Business Confederation | ICC Lithuania, representing International Chambers of Commerce – ICC, was an active participant in the Forum and invited other participants to exchange experience in dealing with problems of Internet Governance.

  2010.09.17 Lithuanian Business Confederation: Betterment of Internet literacy skills needed among workers
  During the Global Internet Governance Forum IGF, on 14-17th of September in 2010, Lithuanian Business Confederation | ICC Lithuania with partners “Microsoft Lietuva”, the “Penki Kontinentai Group” and “Skaitmeninio sertifikavimo centras” organized an international Internet Users’ survey.

  2010.07.01 New rules for demand guarantees effective 1 July
  Securing an array of international and domestic monetary and performance obligations, ICC's new Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees (URDG) enter into effect today.

  2010.07.23 ICC launches Incoterms® 2010 rules
  Continuing a long tradition of providing the global trading community with the most up-to-date trade tools, the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) launched the Incoterms® 2010 rules. Incoterms rules will come into effect on 1 January 2011.

  26-27 January Prime Minister of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius had an official visit to the Republic of Moldova. Together with an official delegation there was a leading business delegation formed of 9 companies.

  2009.12.04 ICC announces new rules for demand guarantees
  ICC today announced a revised version of the Uniform Rules for Demand Guarantees (URDG) destined to apply to hundreds of billions of dollars of demand guarantees securing monetary and performance obligations in a wide array of international and domestic contracts.

  2009.11.10 ICC provides strong business presence at Barcelona climate change meeting
  ICC provided a strong business presence at the last preparatory meeting before the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Conference of the Parties (COP15) in Copenhagen in December. Leading the delegation in Barcelona was Chair of the ICC Commission on Environment and Energy, Laurent Corbier.

  2009.11.03 ICC to press for solutions to counterfeiting, piracy
  ICC said today it will challenge global leaders gathering at a major congress to identify concrete solutions to the growing problem of counterfeiting and piracy, which has been exacerbated by the current economic crisis and is estimated to cost the global economy US$750 billion annually.

  2009.06.02 ICC appoints seasoned international executive as new Secretary General
  Jean Rozwadowski, a businessman with broad international experience, was today named Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce.
