It was decided to transform E-business, IT and telecommunications commission to Digital Economy. Mr. Tomas Milaknis was appointed as a Chair of Digital Economy Commission under Lithuanian Business Confederation.

Its objective is development of digital economy through innovations, entrepreneurship and social responsibility. The Commission will participate in the development of rules and guidelines for safer and more efficient business operations, by calling validate various technical tools (such as e-doc or e-invoice). The Commission will seek to encourage a wider use of IT solutions in enterprises of different industries.
