Bishkek (AKIpress) – The delegation of Uzbekistan
participating in the 6th round of the Uzbek-Lithuanian ministerial
consultations in Vilnius held a number of meetings and talks on October 5-7.
Uzbek side made a presentation on the investment potential
of Uzbekistan in Lithuanian Business Confederation, which was attended by
representatives of leading business structures of the country.

The delegation met with Deputy Minister of Agriculture of
Lithuania Vilius Martusevičius, Chairman of Seim on interparliamentary
cooperation with Uzbekistan Valerijus Simulik, Deputy Economy Minister Rasa
Noreikienė, as well as representatives of Center of East European Studies and
Center for Geopolitical Studies of Lithuania in the framework of its visit.

The promising proposals on further cooperation development,
new projects in various areas were discussed at the meeting.
