Project description:
STEP UP moves from the assumption that there is a direct link between the effectiveness of WBL schemes and the pedagogical skills detained by all the different professionals involved in the planning, follow up and evaluation of these paths. Therefore, project aims to deepen the applications of the WBL methodology and the dual system as pillars of the IVET paying particular attention to the involvement of companies, training institutes and universities, encouraging the introduction of continuous training opportunities with particular focus to pedagogical skills, disadvantaged youth and digitalized working places “Industry 4.0”, an upcoming challenge for all EU.
STEP UP will contribute to enhance the quality, effectiveness and relevance of training, of follow up and assessment of LO achieved in WBL settings through the development, testing and mainstreaming in continuous capacity building paths implemented in Italy, Germany, Lithuania and Spain of a new pedagogical framework for the preparation, training and support of in-company tutors, trainers and mentors.
Project tasks:
- To develop new successful pedagogical models to prepare, train and support various in-company tutors/tutor/mentors involved in WBL settings with respect to “digitalization I 4.0” working places and considering different types of learners (students, apprentices, interns, etc…).
- To develop new methods trainings aimed to help and accompany all the companies that is involved in a WBL path, so that it can acquire more training capacities and consequently a greater formative
responsibility.
- To provide capacity building modules for employers who take charge of learners (apprentices, interns, students) as well as new-workers in order to enhance their lifelong learning opportunities.
Results, achieved in project:
O1 -Analysis of apparent good practice of technical, pedagogical competences and innovative approaches for the training of trainers, tutors and staff engaged into WBL approaches.
